【活动目标】
1．在对圣诞节和春节的不同庆祝方式的比较中，认识并学习诸多与节日相关的词汇。
2．在系列庆祝活动中，西方的节日文化和饮食文化。
3．培养幼儿对英语学习的一种新的认识，使幼儿对英语学习的兴趣不只停留在语言符号的表层上，而是渴望去探索支撑语言的西方思想文化。
【活动过程】
一、Chinese和English1．教师用英文描述两张不同特征的脸，启发幼儿画出来。
P1ease draw two face．One has black hair，yellow skin and black eyes??The other has brown hair，white skin，gray eyes and a bigger nose．The two face you drawn，one with a bigger nose is an English face,and the other is a Chinese face.

2．幼儿按意愿分成圣诞组和春节组参加模拟庆祝活动。

三、模拟过节1．节日的气氛准备。
(1)教师指导圣诞组幼儿用废旧物品制作圣诞礼物，制作过程中学习词语Christmas gift(圣诞礼物)，并鼓励幼儿说出各种美工工具的英文名称。
(2)教师指导春节组幼)LN作对联，反复再现词语couplets(对联)。
(3)将制作好的圣诞礼物挂在Christmas tree(圣诞树)上，对联贴在教室门的两侧。

活动反思
幼儿园的英语活动设计应力求做到游戏多,要求少、重复多、内容少;孩子们学习语言的过程，先后有两种不同的趋势。起初是扩展的趋势，就是能够学会越来越多的语音，3-6岁的幼儿正处于这种阶段，在此以后，学习语言的趋势逐渐趋向收缩。专家指出:3-6岁内的儿童，相当容易学会世界各民族语言的发音。可以说幼儿在学习外来语上有比较好的先天条件，孩子们很容易接受新的单词。但是幼儿也有其特定的年龄特点，注意力时间短、喜欢重复、理解和接受能力相对较差等，因此，在活动中，我们就更应该利用这些特点来设计活动。
在幼儿园英语教学过程中，教学方法的应用值得商榷。教学有法，但无定法。作为教师应大胆探索各种新的教学方法,根据幼儿的特点，采用生动有趣、活泼多样的方法实施教学，以激发幼儿学习的动机和积极参与英语活动的兴趣。
